There’s more than one way to STAND OUT in a crowded marketplace
There are hundreds if not thousands of what I call “content hounds” online competing for business. We all know this…it’s nothing new. And honestly, it’s mega important.
But understand this: If you just blend in with the crowd, you’ll have a hard time landing your dream clients and a hard time asking for the rates you really deserve.
But hey doll, if you learn to stand out, not only will you be booked full of clients, you’ll also be making what you want from the people you wanna work with. You don’t even have to tell me, I know this is what you dream of.
Sooo, how do you stand out?
Ever heard of a USP?
Let’s start there.
This is your Unique Selling Point or Unique Selling Proposition
Here’s what you do:
Find a gap or two in the marketplace. Do your research. Browse the different places where your peeps hang out and look for the number one frustration people have with your niche.
Craft a USP to combat this. Seed this into your content!
Let’s say you provide a service and people are unsatisfied with the average turnaround times, then your USP might be a guaranteed 48-hour turnaround.
If you hear people saying they are unsatisfied with the delivery of the content because it’s only in video files, then your USP might include having “video, audio, and transcription” so they have options.
Whatever it is, make sure it’s unique and addresses a core frustration. Start with something simple. This can work wonders for your business.
